Analyses conducted and not conducted in LABRIS food and feed safety laboratories

LABRIS' food and feed safety laboratories specialize in conducting analyses throughout the food chain. The laboratories deal with the analysis of feed, food, drinking water, alcohol, and primary production and processing environments (hygiene samples). Exceptions include denatured alcohol and wastewater samples, which are analyzed according to instrumental analysis methods and in the Saaremaa laboratory. Additionally, the Saaremaa laboratory conducts analyses of swimming and pool water.

LABRIS does not conduct analyses of clinical material from humans, cosmetics and consumer goods, toys, fuels, automotive chemicals, textiles, and other materials. Other laboratories in Estonia focus on these areas, and we recommend contacting them if necessary.
